Services for Dalit Communities
Livelihoods, entitlements and legal help, for families who have too often been denied them.

MASS's work is not limited to Devadasi women and the tradition. Its vision includes Dalit communities, other vulnerable women and children, through livelihood promotion, quality education for Dalit children, a campaign against child marriage and legal support for women who face injustice.
What this programme aims to do
- Empower women to access livelihoods, social entitlements, quality education and nutrition for their children.
- Ensure that women in Belgaum district, and Devadasi and Dalit women in particular, have a place to approach with confidence when they need legal help, and make the legal and social environment more supportive of women's and children's rights.
- Raise public awareness of HIV/AIDS and STIs, and link Devadasi, Dalit and minority families to treatment, care and support services.
